About Mike
Michael D. Grayson
Mike wrote Black Holes and Other Works of God to help Christians know God more deeply through understanding His creation. He saw a gap between what people were discovering about the universe and what they were concluding about its Creator.
His background spans combat service, satellite communications, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship. His formal theological study has been accompanied by roughly 25 years of lay teaching and leadership at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas. He brings science and Scripture together to encourage thoughtful faith, deeper trust, and a more personal relationship with God.

The book invites you to consider God's power, wisdom, authority, and purpose through
creation and Scripture, then reflect on what that understanding means for your own
life. Growth comes through your relationship with God—through faith, trust,
prayer, and obedience. The book offers a starting point for learning and reflection;
that relationship is what shapes how you live.

The purpose is understanding, not solving equations.
It deliberately brings both together. Part 1 focuses on God, purpose, authority, identity, and
Scripture. Part 2 explores light, energy, relativity, time, and black holes. The connection between
those two perspectives serves one purpose: helping readers know God more deeply.
Start with the question that genuinely interests you. The site is designed for exploration rather
than requiring you to adopt a label or begin with a predetermined level of belief.
If purpose is on your mind, begin with the opening journey and Chapter 2. If morality or culture is
